I ordered a tofu pot bowl at the door, and without any warning, it made me sick. I assumed it was just a fluke, so I decided to order the same dish again about a month later. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling unwell again. While it wasn't food poisoning, I did experience a headache. I'm not sure why that happened, as I usually don't have any sensitivities to vegan food. Great food but we had trouble using the app to order online. Try the tataki salad or poke bowls!
Walked in tonight and there weren’t many customers there. That could be awkward at some places but they made me feel very welcome and walked me through the menu. Thank you so much!
I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options at Tokyo Joe's, but my experience took a turn when my food arrived. While I appreciated the generous amount of tofu in my bowl, which is common in meat alternatives, I encountered some unpleasant pieces of bark that I had to spit out. This was quite disappointing.
