I was at Tavern Downtown last Friday (6/11) for Live 5 with Alice 105.9. Tonic played and even though the weather wasn't all that great it wasn't stopping my group from having a great time. Didn’t seem like the worst place at first, even though a couple that was just standing outside the door not causing a single problem we were asked to leave. My friends and I were there for 10-15 minutes and after going upstairs then going back to the main level to get a drink at the bar we were all told to leave immediately and the extremely rude bouncers didn't even tell us why. The Tavern restaurants in Denver are my favorite places to go during the week or on the weekends to watch the game. The Tavern Downtown is not far from my work and is my favorite of them all. Most of my friends work downtown, so we meet there after work for drinks and sometimes dinner. My favorite thing on the menu is the burger and fries (the fries are amazing! The best spot in the place is the rooftop on a sunny day... you'll see me there!
