The Molecule Effect - Denver
The Molecule Effect
Description
At Molecule Effect, exceptional coffee and a vibrant atmosphere entice patrons, though some find the prices increasingly steep. While the chic décor invites socialization, the uncomfortable seating could deter prolonged visits. Recently, the venue’s popularity surged, with live performances sometimes overwhelming quieter patrons. Despite occasional noise issues, many appreciate the clearly labeled vegan options and the inviting ambiance ideal for social gatherings. Guests rave about the quality of food and drink, particularly the oat milk lattes. Overall, Molecule Effect stands out in Denver’s coffee scene, merging quality beverages with an energetic vibe.

Coffee? Excellent. Ambiance? Fantastic. Chairs? Incredibly inexpensive! However, they are so uncomfortable that they seem to discourage patrons from getting too cozy.
I used to walk to this coffee shop every day for a couple of years, but recently made the decision to stop going. The coffee is great, but the prices have gotten outrageous. I ordered the same drink at 4 coffee shops in Denver, and Molecule was $2-3 more expensive than everywhere else (including Corvus). They even charge the full price for just a “splash” of flavored sweetener (vs the usual 4 pumps), which none of the others did. Great coffee if you’re willing to pay for it, I’m not.
I purchased a pistachio white chocolate latte.. that somehow tasted like a wine soaked BLT. Multiple people tried this coffee and spat it out too. My friends white latte was literally a splash of coffee with milk, so I paid for iced milk. Disappointed and won't ever come back. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $10–20
Comfortable coffee shop on Logan. This location has a variety of burritos and a breakfast sandwich as well as some food for lunch. In addition to a standard range of coffee drinks, they have wine on offer. Service is fast and friendly. The space is fairly large with varied seating. The space has local art for sale on the walls none of which appealed to me on this visit. They had mellow music playing at a comfortable level which was very relaxing. There is password protected Wi-Fi available for guests. Parking can be difficult. There are a few spaces in a lot in back (accessible via Almeda), but there may be none available during hours when the other businesses are open.
