Description

Nestled in Denver’s historic Union Station, Terminal Bar blends nostalgic rail-era decor with a lively bar scene. A full bar pours local beers, ciders and craft cocktails (including rare mocktails), and rotating outdoor seating and live music keep things vibrant. Shareable bar food—standout tacos, Brussels sprouts and raspberry beignets—pairs well with happy hour or a quick pre-train stop; service can be busy and uneven at peak times, but the atmosphere and drink selection make it a reliable, convivial downtown stop.

I was here several times while visiting Denver. Ate inside the bar with the hubby and again by myself. Enjoyed tacos and sangria. Delicious! Hubby had the burger and said it was great. Had the cheese dippers and tomato soup on my second visit. The cheese sandwich was above average, not greasy and with the perfect amount of cheese. Tomato soup was thick, tasty and well seasoned. The waitress inside the bar and bartender, when I returned were friendly and attentive. Next time I am near Union Station, I will come back.

Wow! This bar surpassed my expectations. I am a guest at the Crawford hotel. With my stay I get a free beer during happy hour each day I stay. I don’t typically drink beer but they had a cider as an option that was PHENOMENAL. The taste and light weight feel to the drink was so good I highly recommend anyone try it that’s not into beer but wants to try something on tap. The staff was very busy and they forgot to put in our food order. So we waited a very long time for the waiter to come back over and apologize for not getting our food sooner. So he comped the meal and drinks. Over all everything was really good and the vibe is nice for a quick little date or romantic evening.

I stopped by while walking downtown on Cinco de Mayo and was pleased to find an outdoor bar area with a live band celebrating the occasion. There were two separate bars set up, which was a little confusing since you had to order in one line and then wait next to the bar for drinks. It seemed like there was no particular order, as the bartender would ask what you were waiting for and then make your drink. However, the tacos were truly amazing! The overall vibe really made the experience a 5-star one!

I really like the restaurant, but it's too small. I think they miss out on hosting larger gatherings.
