There are plenty of vegan options at this wonderful little Mexican restaurant, along with a wide variety of flavors and sauces to pick from. We started with the nopales appetizer, and for our main dishes, I ordered the mole enchiladas (enmoladas), my husband had flautas, my daughter enjoyed zucchini enchiladas, and my son chose a veggie and mushroom huarache. Everything was vegan and absolutely delicious! My only suggestion would be to include some vegan protein options, such as seitan or veggie sausage.
The menu offered a wide variety of options, including plenty of vegan choices! I initially ordered the enmoladas, but the owner kindly informed me that they weren't gluten-free, so I opted for the corn tamales with salsa verde instead. We started with the jalapeño poppers, which were pickled jalapeños stuffed with peanut butter. They were absolutely divine—a wonderful blend of sweet and spicy. The horchata was also noteworthy; I haven't tasted such incredible horchata since my trips to Oaxaca. Next, the corn tamales arrived, and I can't even begin to describe how fantastic they were—truly delicious and authentic! I’m eager to discover everything Tarascos has to offer. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere were all simply perfect.

My husband and I had an amazing meal. I'm vegan and he is not but we both left feeling full and satisfied.
