Due to the rain, we had limited options and ended up at Sunday Vinyl which was a real treat. We were seated immediately despite not having reservations and our server was kind and helpful. We opted to go with a lighter selection and split the beets and strawberries on herbed labneh which was delicious along with the jamin iberico with grilled cantaloupe which was also super tasty. We enjoyed the novelty of these light and flavorful dishes. We then split the pork chop with the bean and corn succotash. It was well prepared and nicely balanced.I paired this with a yummy French Grenache blend. Kudos to the sommelier for having interesting and unexpected wines in the wines by the glass menu.We are staying at the Limelight and this restaurant is conveniently located next door. I’d try this place again when the fall menu is out.Oh, and the tunes were a fun addition to the ambiance.
What a truly fantastic experience. One of the most attentive personable teams I’ve ever experienced while dinning. The wine selection was excellently curated, the food was stunning, thoughtful, and delicious. True audiophile sounds all around. Perfection.
I took my girlfriend here on a date night and I’m so glad I did. The music was a consistent mix of soulful and upbeat jazz that was controlled by one of the staff members who is in charge of controlling in the vibe. The menu is divided by courses that gives you an idea of the size and complexity of the dishes. We ended up sharing two first courses, a second, and a third. The service was top notch with a lot of attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a low key date night.
Excellent food and wine with fabulous service. It was a bit difficult to find the restaurant but it was worth the search. It’s easiest if you can take the train and avoid the parking .
