Smokin Yard's Bbq - Denver

Some of the best brisket I've ever eaten! So good I got some sauce on my shirt. This seems like a local favorite; or a hidden gem for a tourist. It's not fancy. Just great food and service at good prices. If you like barbeque, you have to check thisplace out!

Came back in for Lunch I had the Burnt end?s sandwich with fried okra it was Absolutely Delicious! Okra was piping hot my sandwich was juicy, Smokey Salty (not to much so. paired with the sweet sauce Just Fantastic! Great place for a great Lunch all around Darn good Que!!! Absolutely 100% recommend ????????

This is easily one of the best 5-star reviews I’ve ever written. Ordering at the counter was a breeze, and my food arrived quickly. It's important to note that the service at this restaurant is limited to bringing food to your table, as everything else is self-service. I ordered a two-meat combo featuring brisket and half a chicken, along with mac and cheese, French fries, and spicy slaw. Every item was fantastic; the meats were fresh, flavorful, and not at all dry. The sides were equally impressive and clearly made in-house, especially the creamy mac and cheese—definitely not Kraft! There's a condiment bar with raw onions, pickles, and jalapeños, and each table has a selection of delicious homemade BBQ sauces that perfectly complemented the food. The staff were friendly and professional, and my order came out quickly at very reasonable prices. All in all, I highly recommend visiting this place when you’re in Denver!

Quality BBQ. This restaurant keeps things simple, and that's definitely a good thing. I tried the sliced brisket, which was cooked to perfection. The slices came from the flat and were juicy, unlike what you often find at other places that serve dried-out meat. The brisket had a great bark and a lovely hint of smoke. The wings were fantastic too—not overloaded with sauce, but bursting with flavor.

There aren’t many BBQ places where we live, so trying one in Denver was on my list. We made the perfect choice! Delicious food is one thing, but having it paired with outstanding customer service takes the experience to another level. Thank you for a fantastic visit!
