Incredible food, the meat was perfectly seasoned with a smokey taste. The salads were fresh and removable (per my 11-year-old son) and falafel was hot, crispy and quickly swallowed. Persian lemonade is our new craving tart, sweet and reminiscent of rose. The staff is friendly and open, my son loved chatting with them, and his father and I were happy for their on point recommendations. The entire restaurant was beauti... View all feedback.
What tamkin abdo doesn't like about Shondiz Kabob Persian Grill:
It was the worst Persian food I've ever had, trust me I've had a lot of Persian food. Koobideh has no flavor at all and has a weird texture. Kebab was bargh as well. I will never go back when in Denver. It's time to find a new Persian place in Denver. Never recommend..Food: 1/5 View all feedback.
Discovered this place while traveling for work... One of the best kebabs I've had in the US. Ordered the chicken and beef combo. The doneness of the meat, the char and flavor was perfect. The serving size is pretty large. Can't recommend it enough!Food: 5/5
Delicious food, great, quiet atmosphere and incredible service. A must try place if you’ve never had Persian food (or if you have, try this!)Food: 5/5
This is by far the best Persian food I have had ever. We ordered chicken and beef kabob combo. Both items were extremely flavorful and cooked to a perfection. Compared to several Persian restaurants I have tried in Texas and California, this has been the best. It’s hard to believe how they were able to cook both items so well. The serving size is fantastic. The humus and pita was great. Excellent service as well. Overall amazing experience. Highly highly recommend trying this if you’re looking for halal options in the area.

CONSTANT UP CHARGES, POOR FOOD QUALITYStopped by mid week for lunch. Staff member was very friendly and welcoming. Food was hit or miss. First off, the prices were waaaay above any other persian place including in high cost of living areas like LA or DC! $34 for a soltani??? The cucumber yogurt was some of the best I've ever had (even as a Persian foodie) but didn't come with bread so you had to pay $1.50 for four small pita slices (not baked fresh). The salad shirazi was very clearly not made that day the cucumbers were brown and had a clear lemon soaked flavor. The rice was fresh but the kabob kubideh was made thin and small with poor quality beef. As soon as it cooled off, the texture become rubbery and tough highly indicative of too much tenderization premade more than 2 3 hours prior. Also, the color was off . Not even our local Moby Dick chain (think McDonalds for Persian food) gets this bad. Oh yea, half salad and half rice was an additional upcharge (again).Suggestion: I get it, running a service business with tighter margins and lack of help must be difficult. But instead of focusing on nickel and diming every upcharge, step out of your office and off the computer, focus intensely on the food quality, and get that right. Everything else will flow.
