I've visited Senor Bear several times, and each experience has been fantastic. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the quality you receive. The service is consistently friendly. Occasionally, it can get a bit loud, making it difficult to have a conversation at the table, but this is not a frequent issue.
I've always enjoyed the flavors and variety of appetizers and small plates at Senor Bear, particularly when Sebastian was the chef. In the past, I found it difficult to choose what to order because everything sounded so appealing. However, I'm not as fond of the current menu, so I hope they make some adjustments soon.
Don 't get it. Based on all the great reviews we gave it a shot. Drinks and food were fine. With that said, nothing we ate had a Latin flavor profile. The dishes on their own were tasty, but as we were encouraged to share, nothing really went well together. Specifically, we shared the chicken wings (no aji Amarillo taste at all , the steak (mole??? , fish (greens way over vinegared and not even sure what the sauce was , and the broccoli (which tasted more Asian than Latin . And for almost $100 pp won 't be returning.
Had a great experience at señor bear for brunch this afternoon. My partner and I were very happy with some NA beverages: virgin Bloody Mary and a strawberry horchata. And our breakfast dishes were excellent! I got the chilaquiles which were better than Iexpected. We sat at the bar and the staff was attentive and kind. I had the same bartender the last time I came in (back inJune) and I think it says a lot about an establishment when the employees stick around. The prices are a little high, but Iunderstand inflation is hitting restaurants especially hard right now. We’ll be back soon!
Second time here for brunch. Had chilaquiles and comida completa on this trip. Both very good! The potatoes are crispy and super tasty… can you make a bowl with potatoes? Fan of the bread too! Where does it come from? When the basic things are this good, just think how delicious it all can be! The ambiance, drinks, and staff were all great too!
