I expected a large restaurant. That's not the case. It's small but nice. They do have a small enclosed area that would otherwise serve as a patio. Parking is limited and off street. They have good prices for ample portions, plus the food is excellent. I recommend eating here!
The service was great. Very friendly and attentive. The bbq pork sandwich is huge and the meat was very tender. The brisket was excellent. It is a small whole in the wall restaurant in terms of the atmosphere.
Ok the brisket here had really good flavor but why are there only a few spots here in Denver that know how to serve sliced brisket . the bark is supposed to stay attached to the meat not get a pile of meat that looks like it was half chopped ... the beans were bomb and the pork belly burnt ends were amazing
First visit today for lunch....buffalo ribs and brisket were excellent as well as sides (grits and poblano mac and cheese) nice shady patio out front. Good size portions for the price and quality...will visit again to give venison and lamb a try. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Service was good. Food was mediocre. The front door (entrance to patio) kept slamming because the pneumatic arm is broken. How very annoying if you are eating out on the patio! The meat had little to no BBQ/smoke flavor. I took a peek out back and it looked like all the pits are electric. I saw to wood bins in the area. The food was also very very fatty. A sign that the restaurant buys the cheapest cut from the vendor. I know BBQ is typically fatty, but this was the worst I have ever seen. I ordered 1/4 pound of the pork and found two small pieces of meat. The rest was all fat. The person that cuts the meat needs to pay better attention to what he/she puts on a plate.
