I'm really saddened to learn that Patti's has closed its doors. It was one of my favorite spots in Cherry Creek. My 12-year-old grandson always loved ordering the meatballs there. Every time we got takeout for dinner, he would take a bite, smile, and reminisce about Patti's. We're going to miss them a lot.
It's sad to see Piatti closing down. We wanted to enjoy one last meal there, but unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked and stuck together, and there were only four clams in my dish. It was a disappointing farewell. However, the wine and bread were still excellent, as always. We wish the staff all the best in their future endeavors.
Thank you to the whole staff at Piatti’s for so many years of excellence. We will miss this elegant restaurant so much. There is nothing else like it in the Front Range.
Piatti has always been a cherished option for our family, and we will truly miss it. The food and service were consistently outstanding.
The wine selection is good though not extensive; my favorites are the 2005 Flowers Pinot Noir priced at $98 and the Bonterra Viognier for $38. Piatti is conveniently located near the center of Cherry Creek, but be prepared to deal with parking challenges. They have a very small parking lot in front, although valet service is available for both lunch and dinner. I highly recommend making reservations, especially for lunch and on weekends, as it tends to be busier during the day than in the evening. However, it's still a good idea to call ahead for a table.
