Pho 15 - Denver
Pho 15
Description
Tucked in an unassuming corner, this pho restaurant is celebrated for its exceptional, affordable bowls, standout spring rolls with an acclaimed peanut sauce, and memorable boba. Friendly, fast staff and vegan/tofu options make it popular for lunches and takeout; ample parking and wheelchair accessibility add convenience. While most praise the consistent flavors and generous portions, some customers report occasional delivery or portion inconsistencies and a rare brusque interaction. Overall, a cozy, no-frills local gem for hearty Vietnamese comfort food.

I ordered extra meat for an additional $3, but I only received two slices. When I asked the staff member who took my order if these two slices were indeed the extra meat I paid for, he confirmed that they were. I find it difficult to understand this, especially given rising prices everywhere. However, as he answered my question, he stared at me as if I were about to complain, which felt uncomfortable. I was merely inquiring about my order, not trying to cause a scene. It would have been much easier to discuss this if he hadn't looked at me that way. I came in for a meal and to ask questions when something seems off, not to be met with hostility. On a positive note, the meatball and the soup were quite good.
Honestly, this is some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever had—better than many upscale Vietnamese restaurants! And the prices are incredibly reasonable. I ordered the tofu pho and added some oyster sauce and soy sauce; I could barely finish the small bowl, as it was huge! My friend got beef with steamed rice, beef fried rice, and chicken pho, and we all agreed that it’s one of the best pho places we’ve ever visited. Please make sure to pay them a visit! The owners are incredibly kind and know exactly how to prepare traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
I feel like I've just thrown my money away. I paid $40 for delivery, including the tip, which I know adds about $10-12 to the menu prices. But honestly, how do you mess up wontons? There was literally only about half a teaspoon of cream cheese in them. The pho was disappointing as well—totally flavorless. I'm really upset, especially since this place had good ratings. Save your money and skip this restaurant.
Best pho ever. That’s all that needs to be said. I actually buy extra pho broth to take home. Vegan pho option is fantastic! It’s in a very unassuming place which may make people feel skeptical, but don’t! The service is super friendly too. Simple, no frills atmosphere. The prices are super reasonable.Food: 5/5
