Crazy place. In my younger days I would have made this a stomping ground. Now that I am a little older (though I don't look it) I would still drop in for a cup of coffee and watch the young people engaging in the great vibes and memories. I was there for a magic open mic that I performed at. Had a blast, a great cup of chai and got sweaty in the back end of shop. Needs some air circulation.. Just saying. I'm going to... Mutiny is the cornerstone of the Denver creative/diy/counter culture scene. It's my favorite place on earth should be yours, too.
I am the pinball madman at Mutiny and think this is by far the coolest spot in D town! Even when I’m not maintaining the machines I’m wanting to be here! Denver needs to stay weird!!!
Best coffee, best conversation, best books, awesome music, everything you love in one place! Say hi to Jim, the King of Broadway!
I try to stop by every day. Great... Coffee, Books, Vinyl, Games, Pinball, Collectibles, People. . More nights than not there is an awesome community event going on in the back such as a weekly Comedy Night, Story Telling Events, a live KGNU Radio Show with original literature and an interesting interview, Magic Night, Open Hip Hop Jams, Movie Premiers, Bands and even a Chill Vinyl DJ night. And that's just a small synopsis. . Can't recommend enough to the information seeking, community artist supporting, coffee drinking and fun loving individuals in Denver. . P.S. There is even Piano in the back that anyone is welcome to play. ;
This place is THE best bohemian hangout for a range of cool hangout stuff including coffee (of course), meet up w/friends, book browsing, vinyl/comic/t-shirt and button grabs, chess, pinball, and RALLY around spoken word and music. I do not know what Denver would do without this place. No worries there. It's here. Mutiny... yea!
