Menu
The menu of Motomaki from Denver comprises about 81 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about $10.2 for a dish / drink.
This Denver restaurant offers a unique twist on sushi with customizable sushi burritos and poke bowls, attracting diners with its intriguing menu. However, experiences vary widely. While some patrons praise the fresh ingredients and friendly service, others express disappointment over slow service, unappetizing food, and poor management. Many found the portion-to-price ratio lacking, with excessive rice overshadowing the fish. Though the atmosphere is casual and inviting, the need for better organization and staff training is apparent. This spot may satisfy a craving for quick, customizable meals, but expectations should be managed to avoid disappointment.

I absolutely adore the Big Roll at this restaurant! It's a sushi roll the size of a burrito that you can customize to your liking. There are plenty of vegetable options, as well as tofu, and most of the sauces are vegan-friendly (just be aware that the aioli is not). If you're unsure about any ingredients, feel free to ask the staff for clarification. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Motomaki:
Experience was fine. Maybe my expectations were too high for “fast food sushi”. It was really expensive and did not taste great. Also, was not prepared for burrito size sushi rolls. If I eat here again, will probably go for a bowl rather than a roll. View all feedback.

Casual quick food intake. menu can be daunting if they are not sure what they are looking for, but they have many great options. our own teller built and the price was still reasonable. try the poke seasoned salmon or thunfish!
I really enjoy the large sushi rolls at this restaurant! They are the size of burritos and you can customize them to your liking. There are plenty of vegetable options, tofu, and most of the sauces are vegan (except for aioli). If you're unsure about any of the ingredients, feel free to ask.
In town for a conference, my colleague and I were looking for a quick lunch and ended up here. Staff were super friendly and the service was quick. Ingredients were super fresh and the food tasted pretty good! I found the meals a tad expensive for their size … but perhaps this is simply Denver (it was only my second day in the city)?
Okay so, I 'm about to say a lot of positive things about a place that I 'm giving 3/5 stars, so I 'll start with the ONE reason why my ranking is this 'low ': the cost of the bowl vs. the ratio of fish to rice. That was really disappointing. Other than that, everything that came on the Island Tuna Poke #1) bowl was super tasty. I 'd be interested to try it as a roll next time to see if I like the rice vs. stuff ratio a bit more in that format. I just had a slight issue with paying $15 for a big bowl of 75% rice when every other topping they offer even the ones alongside the fish) were very yummy and could have been doubled in quantity. I will say, if you 're hungover after attending some post conference festivities in the area and need something cool but filling the next day this is the stop to make!
