I ordered three veggie burritos to take home, and I found them to be quite small—I ended up eating all of them at once! Normally, I can only manage one burrito. I would give it five stars, but the portion sizes were disappointing. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, polite, and well-mannered. I would definitely go back again.
I recently dined at a restaurant that was featured in "Westword," and it turned out to be a disappointing experience. I ordered the tamale plate with beef tacos, and to say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement. The green chili resembled and tasted like warmed-up PACE Picante Sauce. The rice, beans, and tamales appeared to be microwaved, which certainly didn't improve the meal. The beef tacos could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall, it was a regrettable use of both my time and money.
A North East Denver staple has served the community for over five decades, with love and deep passion. Love those young Lady's they represent their family Legacy well!!!!
