The bartender assured me they were "freshly shucked," but they were small, very salty, and lacked any accompaniment—so we ended up using a butter knife to eat them. The foie gras was an interesting experience; it resembled a unique dessert with strawberries and raspberry jam, balancing savory and sweet flavors. On the bright side, the deviled eggs and meatballs were delicious and definitely worth trying!

My only complaint is that the seating was a bit cramped; I was next to someone who coughed quite loudly, which was quite annoying in such an upscale environment. However, the service was excellent! I also noticed that the table I was seated at was wobbly, which is not ideal given the cost of the meal. I hope they address that issue soon.

I... read more The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The waitstaff is on top of everything. Any of them can easily make recommendations or offer up explanations for any dish. I had the Seared Scallops with Butternut Squash Risotto, Truffle Honey and Fried Sage. Itwas delicious. The risotto was sublime and the fried sage added a lovely herbal note that really brightened the entiredish. We shared a dessert and chose the Chocolate-Mint Gratin. This dessert was beautiful in addition to being delicious. BistroLeRoux was a wonderful experience. A lovely meal shared with family for a stellar celebration.

We had the oysters (served with a grape- so unique and so good), eggs purgatory and avocado BLT. And Bellinis. All of which were so tastyand the staff was very kind.
