Nestled within a hotel, this restaurant presents a charming spot for breakfast, featuring locally inspired dishes and an inviting atmosphere. Guests appreciate the freshness and quality of the food, particularly the breakfast burritos and seasonal specialties like Brussels sprouts and pickled vegetables. While service shows potential, with friendly staff eager to please, it occasionally suffers from lapses in efficiency and attention to detail. Despite minor cleanliness issues, the vibrant ambiance and diverse menu make it a hidden gem worth exploring, especially for those staying nearby. Overall, it strikes a balance between comfort and creativity, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.
This spot was in our hotel, so after a long day of work, we decided to check it out. First of all, beautiful layout with TONS of seating. It's definitely the best hotel restaurant/bar I've been to. The drinks were good, food was okay. I did really enjoy their chocolate tarte, super rich and decadent. Prices were a little on the expensive side, but it is a hotel restaurant. Service kinda sucked, not sure if it was because they were busy or we were put in the back area and often forgotten about, but it was few and far between. For a rainy day, or if you're too lazy to leave the hotel, this place is great.
It's cold outside so I decided to have breakfast in the hotel. I've had dinner here before but this was a first visit for breakfast. The restaurant has been updated in the past couple years, it's got a nice vibe to it. The service was good but due toCOVID there were only 2 servers. They did a great job for being short handed. There isn't a lot of selection on the menu but ithas the basics, eggs, omelette, pancakes, etc. I had the eggs to order with bacon, potatoes, and toast. Overall, it was good.Nothing to set it apart though. No special sauces or fancy anything. The prices are reasonable for a hotel restaurant. I willcome back and try the other menu items.
As a restaurant located within a hotel, I was happily surprised by my dining experience. I began with the pork belly appetizer, which, while slightly dry, was overall quite delicious and beautifully presented. The accompanying deviled eggs were a delightful addition to the dish. For my main course, I chose the trout served on a bed of quinoa alongside a side salad. The trout was perfectly cooked—moist with a nice crispy skin. However, the quinoa was a bit bland; it could have been improved with some chopped walnuts or vegetables for added flavor. For dessert, I savored the chai cheesecake topped with berries, which was delightful—not too heavy. The sliced apples on top added a nice touch. The service was attentive, and the selection of beer, both draft and canned, was impressive. I would definitely come back to dine here again.
We experienced a rocky start at the reception desk when we discovered that our preferred wine was unavailable. The waitress then suggested a "beef and Baileys soup." Wait, did you mean barley?! After a 40-minute wait, we received the wrong order. Our frustration grew, but thankfully, a very helpful assistant manager intervened and offered attentive service in an effort to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, by that point, we were already quite annoyed.
