I took my wife on her birthday and we had a great time! We ordered a well portioned appetizer and it was followed by our meals...which were both large enough to provide extensive leftovers. We were happy that the menu had a variety of classic Indian food, as well as things we hadn 't heard of...which also tasted amazing! View all feedback.
What Aparajita doesn't like about India House:
This place has great decor but really overrated food. We spoke to the owner about how stingy the portions were and he just shrugged us off. The price is definitely not worth the food or the portions. 6 people who dined had to pay $300 dollars for a meal that was at best average. It's not a restaurant and definitely not a showcase for the wonder of Indian Cuisine. I am Indian and do know what I am talking about. View all feedback.
All the previous negative reviews are accurate. I was expecting few choices at the buffet, but the quality was atrocious. The sauces were so watered down it was comical. They looked like soup (broth, not cream based). So bland and a very bad value. My first and last visit. There are other nice restaurants on this street that are better priced and better quality.

This has always been our most favorite restaurant in Denver. The food is always consistently wonderful. We have tried several Indian Restaurants, but none even come close. You should not be in a rush, as it takes a little time to get through an entire meal. It's really great! Do yourself a favor, and try it.
I am lucky enough to work across the street where Taj Palace parks their food truck, so having delicious Indian food so accessible is great.
