Was User at Hedge Row American Bistro a mag?
eating was excellent, but our service was missing. we received the wrong appetizers; truffle friars were forgotten, then regular fries were taken instead of the ordered truffle friries; a glass wee was ordered, but never delivered yet on the bill. our waiter has corrected every mistake graciously, but it was not busy when we were there and there is simply no reason for several, simple errors that happen during a meal... What User dislikes about Hedge Row American Bistro:
It was a nice choice for lunch. The service was excellent and the food tasty and relatively healthy. I would come back here again except that we learned they were closing in December. Parking is an issue because of nearby construction. View all feedback.
I had lunch here in the afternoon and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were very helpful. I appreciated the variety of vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options available. I particularly liked the spicy hummus and the veggie bowl. One thing I found refreshing was how pleasantly quiet it was. The decor was nice, and the space was clean. However, I thought the veggie bowl was a bit pricey, especially since it's just vegetables. I hope to see a price adjustment in the future.
I had an excellent brunch this past Sunday at The Row. While I do enjoy stuffed waffles and other indulgent treats during brunch, I believe that the true test of a good brunch lies in the traditional offerings. We began with the ricotta toast, which was a lovely way to start—fruity and rich in flavor. For my main course, I chose the country breakfast, and it was fantastic. Sure, it was just eggs, hash browns, white bread, some greens, and sausages—pretty basic, I know—but it’s the cooking and quality of the ingredients that really set this breakfast apart. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, the hash browns were thoroughly done, and the thick slices of home-style white bread were toasted to a golden brown. There was some greenery on the plate (still not sure what it was), and the large link sausages were incredibly flavorful, with no greasy residue at all. They were so delicious that it was a challenge to share; I had to fend off my wife! I find this restaurant to be welcoming and friendly. The open layout, the view of the kitchen, the bright bar area, and the large windows all contribute to a cheerful atmosphere. Hedge Row feels more inviting than the typical bistro in Cherry Creek.
Nice modern farmhouse feel in the restaurant. Parking was a bit challenging but they do have valet. The fish tacos were spectacular!! Decent wine list. I had the fire-roasted veggies which were also delicious and all tied together very well. I added the chicken and though it was good it wasn't anything above or beyond. We also tried the salmon and it was also spectacular. The chefs here do a great job of tying all items on a dish together where each item individually may be fantastic, when they are combined in the palate they really set off fireworks. Also exceptional service very friendly, attentive, and good knowledge of the menu. Will be going back to try more dishes!
Picked it at random, and being a local farm to table, everything was fresh and well prepared.
This is a modern, elegant restaurant, with with really good food and service. We got lucky, in that both the Broncos and Rockies were playing that night, so the place was fairly empty. Apparently, they are normally pretty packed. Our table sampled the Gulf Shrimp Hushpuppies, the Crispy Fish Lettuce 'Tacos ', and the Wood Roasted Lamb Meatballs. All were delicious. I had the Mole Braised Short Rib and the Creamy Grits. They were wonderful. I was told that the Roasted Pork Chops were about as good as it gets, the same with their Green Beans. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but a meal of this caliber makes for a nice treat.
