Giordano's - Denver
Giordano's
Description
Nestled in downtown Denver, this lively streetside eatery is praised for its authentic deep‑dish—especially the hearty meat varieties—and a crisp, thin‑edged crust that keeps toppings front and center. Expect cozy, garage‑door dining, strong cocktails and indulgent desserts; servers warn of a roughly 45‑minute bake time that’s usually worth the wait. Service can be busy or inconsistent, noise levels vary, restrooms have occasional shortcomings, and prices run high, but many guests leave satisfied.

The food was fantastic! I really enjoyed how the salads were expertly mixed and tossed with the dressing. The deep-dish pizza was delicious! The medium size was more than enough to share between two people, so we ordered a couple of different ones for the table—plenty of food left over for a take-home box. Just a heads up: deep-dish takes longer to cook than regular pizza. We arrived right at the dinner rush, so the server had a tough time keeping our drinks filled and checking on us, but he was incredibly busy.
The food was outstanding! We ordered the meat lovers deep dish, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. However, the bathroom could use some attention—it hadn't been cleaned in a while and there was no soap or paper towels available. Overall, I’d rate the food 5 out of 5.
I was really looking forward to my visit since it's been a while since I've had deep dish pizza. We arrived just before the lunch rush, and since deep dish takes about 45 minutes to prepare, we got comfortable and settled in. Our waiter was friendly, but I think there was a bit of a language barrier. It took a while to get our drink refills, and a couple of things I requested never arrived. Nonetheless, it was still a great experience overall. The pizza was delicious, and I also enjoyed a very good Greek salad.
Arrived for a work conference and wanted to enjoy a bit of Denver before the conference starts. Our hotel mentioned to walk down a bit and ran into this restaurant. Never ate here before and loved that there wasn't a long line. The atmosphere was awesome, private but still cozy. Plus we had a great view with the garage door partially open. The server made sure to tell us that deep dish would take 45 minutes so we also ordered an appetizer. I can't think of a better place to enjoy Denver and watch the NBA game.
