Feedback
At Etc Eatery, diners encounter a blend of experiences, which range from tantalizing dishes to disappointing service. While the atmosphere buzzes with vibrancy, some guests were perturbed by discriminatory practices against service dogs. Menu offerings are varied, with standout items like lamb tacos and decadent desserts earning praise, although others found the Japanese chicken nuggets lacking flavor. Service quality fluctuates; some patrons appreciated friendly staff, while others noted slow, indifferent service. With a welcoming patio and a well-stocked bar, Etc Eatery draws a diverse crowd, making it worth a visit, despite areas needing improvement.
A Friday night, only two other tables had guests. Vastly shrunken menu, silverware delivered in a plastic, middle school type glass , brown paper napkins, the kind you get in Dairy Queen. Out wait person was great, although looked embarrassed at the state of affairs. I have been to Etc Eatery many times previously. This time it looked like a restaurant that was barely that. Honestly, should have left as soon as the 'barely a menu ' arrived.
Overall everything was good. Our Mother's enjoyed themselves which is what mattered for Mother's Day. Food was good and the patio seating was nice. The service, however, was quite slow and not terribly friendly. I'd like to chalk it up to a busy weekend but it looked to be 1/2 capacity at the most.
We were really disappointed with the quality of service, overall food, and on top of that the meal was crazy expensive.
Overall, everything was good. Our mothers enjoyed themselves, which was the most important thing for Mother's Day. The food was good, and the patio seating was pleasant. However, the service was slow and not very friendly. I would like to attribute it to a busy weekend, but it seemed like the restaurant was only at half capacity.
This place was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance was great and drinks were delicious. The food was absolutely amazing, not one person had a complaint. The beef skewers were absolutely amazing, definitely recommend. Will be back to try the lamb tacos and Japanese nuggets!
