Service can vary, with some diners praising the attentiveness and warm atmosphere provided by staff like Johnny and Maggie, while others report subpar service with long waits and missing items. The food quality is hit or miss, with some customers raving about dishes like the pulpo and street corn, while others found the entrees lacking. Overall, El Jefe provides a cute outdoor dining area and a cozy atmosphere, but the experience may vary depending on the day and dish chosen.
Marco was awesome, best service hands down in a restaurant in a LONG time! Thank you El Jefe, fabulous food, drinks and music!!
The service and food were both fantastic. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this restaurant. It is definitely one of the top spots we have visited in Denver.
Amazing food with great service. Very positive energy.
You book a reservation for date night and they stick you by the kitchen with clanking plates and mass confusion all around. Drinks came 15 minutes after ordering. Chips and gauc never arrived. Diet Coke served by the can with no ice. Subpar and disappointing for one of our favorite restaurants.
El Jefe is consistently spectacular! By far the best dining experience around for the price! Tried the pulpo (octopus) and street corn for the first time their specials never cease to delight. The staff are always wonderful and the restaurant has a family type of atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!
