Reviews - El Five
Reviews summary
El Five offers a memorable dining experience with exceptional views of the city skyline. The food is highlighted by excellent dishes such as the garlic hummus and lamb, although the paella received mixed reviews. The service is attentive and friendly overall, with standout servers like Drew and Heather. While there were some ups and downs in terms of food quality and presentation, the ambiance and views alone make El Five a worthwhile visit, perfect for celebrating special occasions or enjoying a night out with friends. With a good selection of cocktails and wine, it is a great spot to relax and take in the stunning scenery.

The food and service were both amazing. We were pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered, and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely recommend this place! The only downside was that the dining room was very warm and a little uncomfortable, especially considering it is only March.
Really fun night! We were seated near the bar and our servers were super friendly and helpful. Really good food and spot! Definitely will be back.
I genuinely looked forward to El Five, but there were more misses than hits. Paella rice was burned black (I expected some crispiness, but not black char). The wine selection, burrata, and new pork loin tapas were solid. The burnt paella also came with a $10 per person small scallop upcharge (we heard $10 for added scallops), ultimately a letdown for what we anticipated would be the star of our dinner. The RRs were not well tended to either. Go for the view, drinks, and a few tapas, and skip the upsell items.
The food at this restaurant is amazing. The service is excellent and the views are breathtaking. Definitely a hidden gem in Denver.

It has an amazing view to see the city skyline. The service was really good. All the questions were being answered well. The food and the drink was fine. The iberico pork lion was pretty good. It was tender and had good sauce.Don't really recommend seafood paella since it was really salty. And is not the paella we expected.Overall, it is a good place to enjoy the scenery and the service. Foods and drive were fine.
Two of our 4 dishes were WAY too salty. Eggplant fries and sea bass. Disappointing. Menu is fantastic, nonetheless. Staff AMAZING
Such a beautiful restaurant. The food presentation and atmosphere were amazing. Paella was a little on the salty side. Eggplant fries a dumplings were good. Felt a bit neglected by our server Corey but Frank pulled off an awesome recovery and speaking to him was the highlight of our visit.

Excellent service. The amount of detail put into just about every aspect of our evening was off the charts. Well done!
Haven’t been in awhile but it’s always the same , fabulous. Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the service was terrific and the food even better. Love the lamb dish so delicious with spices and texture. Need to get the signature drink with the purple orchid. Will be back
The service all around was outstanding! From the Sunjoy, the hostess who greeted us, to the amazing server Heather who walked us through the menu and guided us through selecting the perfect amount of tapas for a party of 4 hungry ladies. Heather helped us choose the perfect bottle of wine by asking thoughtful questions and found the perfect bottle to meet our price point. The food was amazing and so was the staff, we will definitely be back!
