The service at DD is lacking. If the staff actually bothered to get out of their cars and come inside, they might provide better service, but it’s a challenge to get their attention throughout the visit. My hash browns were incredibly soft, but their selection of donuts has really declined compared to what it used to be. I hate to say it, but even donuts from local food businesses are better than these!
It was frustrating because while he did reheat them (which was good), he returned the one I had already taken a bite out of. With a newborn at home, I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and just wanted to get back to my family. Even after reheating, one of the minis still had a cold spot, so I decided not to eat them. Overall, it was disappointing, and the staff member showed a lack of respect, not even offering an apology despite my polite demeanor. I usually give this place a chance since it’s the only one close to me, but this experience was rough.
I recently visited this Dunkin’ for an ice cream, bringing my own reusable container. However, the employee who took my order refused to use it. He claimed that the only option was to make my coffee in a plastic cup and then pour it into my container, which completely defeats the purpose of reducing waste. I expressed that I didn't want a discount just to avoid using plastic, and I asked him to check with his coworkers to see if a different solution was possible, but he declined. He simply said, "I don't think we can do that." This seems like either poor training or a problematic business policy. As a result, I decided not to make a purchase and won't be returning until this issue is resolved.
I arrived and waited patiently for quite a while. Unfortunately, there wasn't anyone available to assist me. I remained for a considerable amount of time, hoping someone would come. Sadly, no one ever appeared to offer help. I ultimately had to leave without being attended to. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
