The Cruise Room, located off the main lobby of the historic Oxford Hotel in Denver, is Denver's first bar. Opened the day after prohibition was repealed in 1933, this bar is shaped like a wine bottle and modeled after a bar on Queen Mary. Known for its unique martinis and displaying 10 original panels from different countries, The Cruise Room offers a distinct atmosphere from the thirties. The menu includes ahi tuna burgers, pork sliders, cheeseburgers, salmon rolls, spicy peel and eat shrimp, chicken wraps, flatbread pizzas, wings, fish tacos, and desserts like chocolate truffles, creme brulee, sorbet, and fruit. As The Cruise Room is located next to The Urban Farmer, a modern steakhouse, entrées from The Urban Farmer can also be ordered and enjoyed in The Cruise Room.
