You can even hear... read more My burger was absolutely perfect! It was hot, fresh, and had all the toppings I requested. It was delicious! The staff is incredibly cheerful! You can even hear their positive energy through the Drive-Thru speaker, and it's clear that they love what they do. It's great to find a place where both the food and the staff are exceptional! Kudos to this fantastic team!

Whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to have dinner with my husband and our four kids. Our youngest has a big appetite, so we always order a few BBQ sandwiches for her, and she enjoys them immensely! We also like to grab milkshakes after the boys' baseball games. Thank you for making us feel like family!

There, and every time I come here to visit family here... read more For quick food, you really can't be better than Cook Out. I live in another state, so we don't have Cook. There, and every time I come here to visit family here in NC, I can't wait to go to this Cook Out. Food tastes like real food, really, and it's MUCH cheaper than other fast food sites. Compared to other fast food, which tastes like pre-fab from frozen mass produced garbage, Cook Out actually tastes like food from a backyard barbeque to your neighbor or so. The burgers are great and fresh. The pulled pork sandwich is my favorite. The Hush puppies are a must, and the frits are big, but the Kajunfries are much better. The Shakes are also great, I had a few different and they're all good. The *only* complaints I have about this site is that sometimes the lines are extremely long and slow, I think it is partly because they seem to be underused, and the employees seem to do too much work per person, at some of my visits, I felt really bad for the employees because it was like just two of them trying to lead the whole place. And their loudspeaker system (or really, the headsets that go with it) on the drive thru does not work very every time I have been here, the buyer cannot hear very well because a kind of problem with the headsets, it seems. But yes, customer service is still quite good the most time, most people working there are very friendly. So if you are looking for something fast, cheap and tasty, this Cook Out is the place to go.

I appreciate that they offer hushpuppies; sometimes, as a Southerner, you just have to have them. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the place is clean.
