Jack provided outstanding service! He was incredibly patient and kind, making sure we never felt like a burden with our numerous orders. We felt very comfortable and welcomed during our visit. There was also another gentleman, whose name we didn’t catch, who was remarkably friendly—he had dark hair, glasses, and a beard. Kudos to both of them! The atmosphere in the dining room was wonderful as well!
Food tasted amazing.I loved the Pork bun and Octopus fritter. Server was amazing. Atmosphere was great and food came about as quickly as possible. Nice location. Parking was slightly harder to find but not difficult a few blocks away. Inside was dimly light but not dark in the evening.
A true five-star restaurant. The cuisine is innovative, the happy hour offers great value, and the service is friendly.
The food is very overpriced for the quality and quantity of the meal. The meat was undercooked and the stir fry had no flavor. The staff looks miserable working there and it killed the vibe of dining in. I took my mother out for her birthday and I specifically asked if we can get a celebration with a desert. They reassured me and said they will be able to get us taken care of. Unfortunately they didn’t fulfill their word. Honestly I’m not too upset about it since the service wasn’t that good to begin with. I am extremely disappointed in Cholon for this experience.
It was nice to go out and enjoy dinner at ChoLon. My wife and I enjoyed an appetizer of French onion soup dumplings, an entree of the pork belly steamed buns, and a couple of cocktails. The food was outstanding. The reputation for the soup dumplings is well warranted. However, the pork belly steamed buns should have an even greater reputation than those dumplings. We ordered big dragon energy and everything everywhere all at once for our cocktails, and they were likewise outstanding and went well wish our meal. The cook on all of the food and prep of the drinks could not have been more perfect. The service was wonderful, and that is saying a lot due to how busy the dining room was in the evening. Our waitress never left us wanting and managed our table, a party group, and a couple of others. The atmosphere was great as well, with excellent lighting and decor. It is a great place for a nice date night. I encourage you to take a special someone here for great food and a lovely experience.
