They might have had a bit too much garlic, to be honest, but overall it was a fantastic experience.

My friends and I always lo... read more I had a wonderful experience at Cap City Tavern! The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food was fantastic. My friends and I always love dining there. I personally recommend the chicken and fries, mozzarella sticks, and their burger. My partner also mentioned that the salad was exceptional. I'm pretty sure their fries are homemade, which is a huge plus for me! If you can, I suggest sitting on the patio to soak in the sights and people-watching. The staff has consistently been friendly and engaging. I can't wait to return!

I gave it four stars mainly because the cocktails were weak and the house wine was terrible. I'm not sure if the wine had been opened a couple of days earlier and left out, but it definitely didn’t taste fresh. I mentioned it to the bartender, and she kindly replaced it with a better option at no extra charge. After my weak cocktail, I ordered a double Jack Daniels on the rocks, and that was a solid pour. Thanks!
