Cafe De France - Denver

The name of the café caught my attention, and the bright yellow tablecloths adorned with fresh flowers made me feel welcome as I took a seat. Customers were queuing outside this charming café. The booth I chose was comfortable while we waited for our server. The menu was small and manageable, though it was starting to fall apart. We ordered coffee and were eager to try the heavy cream as well. Unfortunately, the coffee lacked both flavor and aroma, and they had already run out of heavy cream by 10 a.m. Our server was friendly, patient, and quite busy. The service was a bit slow this morning, but my breakfast was absolutely delightful and beautifully presented. My scrambled eggs were delicious!

Caution: This place isn't too far from the usual spots. The service was excellent, the atmosphere is delightful, and I definitely plan to come back.

I visited the café for the first time and really appreciated the option to sit outdoors, along with their commitment to social distancing and mask-wearing. The service was attentive, which enhanced the experience. The house wines were reasonably priced and surprisingly flavorful. I ordered the seafood crepes, which were quite unique. I enjoyed the sweetness of the crepe, but with the champagne sauce, it became almost too sweet. Fortunately, I was able to balance it out with some salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. The crème brûlée was torched to perfection. I can definitely see myself returning to try more dishes!

Tonight at Restaurant Week I tried this place that I 'd never heard of in my neighborhood. I was served one of the best meals of my life! The escargot was delicious! Main entree was the pepper filet mignon. So amazingly delicious! For dessert, the creme brulee. So delicious! Thanks for an awesome gastronomical experience! I 'll be coming back! I think I used 'delicious ' too many times, but everything was wonderful, including the service. Thank you!

The food here is delicious! We did a valentines dinner take out and everyone loved it. Got the gorgonzola steak, tilapia, chicken alfredo, lobster bisque, and it was all wonderful. Highly recommend trying this one!
