While some guests were underwhelmed by dishes like crab Benedict and Steak au Poivre, the overall consistency of food was commended. The outdoor patio and white table service were highlights, with exceptional service and a cozy atmosphere. Brunch is highly recommended, especially when enjoyed on the beautiful terrace. With a welcoming staff and speedy service, this charming French restaurant is a favorite for many. A must-visit for those seeking a delightful dining experience.
We notice two different times, our server, blonde hair, was deeply engaged with the pair in the gang from us. Her back was all we saw for the longest time. We had to say something because we had finished our meal, and the dishes had to be deleted and we wanted to order Dessert. She came a second time and did the same. We thought that she spent too much time talking to this couple, much to the decrease of her attention and the service for us.
Served an excellent meal from a wonderfully attentive server. Will definitely be an attractive place for an excellent meal with a great ambience, whether inside or on the beautiful terrace.
Overall I was a bit disappointed in Bon Ami. This was my first time there, and I would not seek it out again but would go if others wanted to go. I had a nice time with my friends, but I was disappointed with my food choice. It was a crab Benedict, and I would not have known there was crab in it. I think I tasted crabmeat in one bite. Also, for some reason I had expected a Hollandaise sauce but it was a tomato based sauce. That was my mistake. The sauce didn't have much flavor but it was enough to overpower any crab that might have been in the crepe. I also don't think it made a very attractive presentation a big blob smothered in sauce. No other garnish if I recall correctly. A few spears of asparagus would have been nice. I will say the poached eggs were perfect. If I were to go again I would try the spinach crepe that comes with Hollandaise. I thought the portion was so so and a bit over priced for the size. Our server was very nice but clearly very busy. It took a long time before our orders were placed, but the food did come quickly and it was very hot. My friend next to me was also disappointed in her dish as well.
I come here for the mussels. The white wine broth is good enough to take home and I’ve done that. I also enjoy their pate and this time I finished with chocolate mousse which is deep and rich and almost too much.
Amazing food amazing service the food here is impeccable
