Hosted a book launch party. The staff was wonderful, food was delicious and cocktails were perfect. Everyone had a great time, I really appreciated all of the personal touches; they created a beautiful table with appetizers, but also how friendly and customer service oriented the staff was to make it a memorable event. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Spinach, artichoke dip with toasted bread and veggies was a hi... View all feedback.
What Πωλίνα Θεοδώρου doesn't like about Blackbird Public House:
I strongly recommend avoiding any seafood items on the happy hour menu. Everything I tried tasted old and not fresh. Despite not noticing any other red flags, I still got food poisoning within 2 hours of eating the moule frite and half dozen oysters. I highly recommend staying away from this place. After seeing the defensive response from the owner, I believe this restaurant is on the verge of going out of business.... View all feedback.
The bathrooms were clean!Buuuut, that’s the best thing it has going for it. Ordered the blue cheese chips and they came out burned and covered in a soupy cheese sauce. The server didn’t seem to agree that they were burned. The pizza was soggy and watery in the middle and the pub burger was missing the candied bacon. When I asked for the bacon, I was given a couple strips covered in a sweet sauce, not actually candied. Definitely won’t make it a destination when in the area. But the bathroom was very pleasant, clean and well-stocked with paper products.
Lovely place for food and drinks. Happy hour each day 4-6. Tuesdays hh is oysters. They have a several food and drink HH options. Sangria is good and not crazy sweet. Calamari is good. Brussel sprouts are too greasy sadly. Several ppl really like their steak salad. I tried the charcuterie platter and was quite large!
Best calamari in Denver. A little on the salty side but not bad at all for a lock land state. The Wash Park Burger was incredible and the cocktails are strong and really tasty. 10/10 recommendParking: I came on Saturday and found parking easy.
Friends and I recently booked a graduation party in the private room at Black Bird for our DU graduates. Absolutely fantastic experience! Our server, Meghan was very friendly and attentive to specific menu requests for all our family and friends, including gluten free and dairy free options. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect for our group size (66) and the owner, Garrett went out of his way to make sure everything came together for our celebration and was most generous on our final bill. Next year’s graduates loved the venue and gave us a thumbs up to reserve the space for another shared celebration. The GF fig, prosciutto pizza was a hit with the entire crowd and pizzas were brought out on request as new guests arrived and kept hot under heat lamps. In a crowd of picky eaters, the crusts were crispy and soft in all the right places with generous toppings. Tickets for drinks helped us stay within budget while giving guests access to a wide selection of beverages on the drink menu. We highly recommend Black Bird for the excellent food, atmosphere and service. Except for one date in June 2024. We need the space!
I ordered something w basil but there was no basil. I ordered an extra plate of a poached egg because the menu read as one poached egg but it came with two. Halfway through the meal I couldn’t hear anything because a band started playing.Parking: It’s a super small parking lot and very crowded restaurant. They seem to be doing well :
