Description

Birdcall on Hampden delivers juicy, well‑seasoned chicken, inventive sauces, tots, milkshakes and boozy cocktails in a modern fast‑casual setting. Service is generally friendly and quick, with convenient kiosk ordering, drive‑thru, curbside pickup and delivery; however guests warn of inconsistent portion sizes and order accuracy, occasional over‑spicy or dry items, and a pricier menu. Busy lunch parking and bright outdoor signage/music can be jarring for sensitive diners. Overall, a flavorful spot for chicken lovers who prioritize taste and convenience over bargain value.

What an amazing experience. I was in Denver for a soccer event, needed a light lunch, and had some work to do. A wonderful man working there—possibly a manager—noticed everything was perfect but saw I was struggling with the sunlight on my tablet. Without saying a word, he went outside and lowered the shade to block the sun. Such attentive, thoughtful service at this fantastic spot. Thank you! I really enjoy this spot—it’s like Chick-fil-A, but way better in every way. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but wow, the chicken is outstanding. Birdcall offers an excellent menu, perfect for lunch with vegetarian options like the Veggie Sandwich. The food quality is outstanding, and the price per person ranges from $20 to $30.

I visited this location for the first time yesterday. I ordered the Southern chicken and the Nashville Hot chicken. The Southern had a decent flavor, but it only had about 2-3 ounces of chicken on it. The Nashville Hot, on the other hand, was unbearably spicy; I could only eat about half of it before I had to give up. My wife and my friend also tried the Nashville Hot, and neither of them could finish theirs either. The total bill came to $39.99, which felt a bit pricey, especially considering that you can get something similar at Chick-fil-A for half the price and twice the amount of chicken.

During my first visit to Denver, I walked into this restaurant and found myself a bit confused about how to place my order. However, a staff member, who was clearly juggling several tasks, came over to help me navigate the ordering machine and even entered my order for me. The layout of the restaurant is really nice, and the patio is great for enjoying a meal outside. The lemonade was fresh, and both the chicken sandwich and tenders were delicious. The house sauce had a nice kick to it, and the salad was excellent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. The portions were generous, and I would rate it 4.4 out of 5.
