Baker Java N Scoops - Denver
Baker Java N Scoops
Description
Baker Market is a neighborhood gem known for standout breakfast burritos, tasty sandwiches (notably a Cubano) and a lively, community-focused vibe. Friendly staff, fresh produce, reasonable prices, coffee and house kombucha make it a welcoming spot to sit on the cool back patio or grab groceries and premade meats. While many praise consistent flavors and warm service, occasional kitchen inconsistencies — slow orders, a mishandled sandwich and a bland cobbler — have been reported. Overall it’s a cozy, local hub worth visiting for breakfast or lunch.

This place is a hidden gem, and I would definitely visit regularly if I lived nearby. The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes, which is my only minor concern. The food selection was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful! Overall, I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
This is strictly a review of the breakfast sandwich. If you're craving one, this will certainly satisfy your needs. It’s not the best you’ll ever find—the cheese is just standard American slices. However, the pressed croissant is definitely the standout feature. With better cheese, this could be a much improved sandwich. It's nice to see carne asada as an option, but I'm still a classic sausage fan. The back patio is lovely and peaceful for a Saturday morning.
O.M.G. Their sandwiches are amazing! I ordered the Mamma Mia, and I can't remember the last time I had a sandwich this delicious.
Moved to the area one week ago and I’ve already been here three times. It’s the best—each time it never disappoints! The breakfast burritos are delicious and made fresh to order. The service is beyond awesome—Jenni is the best!!! So patient and helpful when I order. They have stellar vegetarian options. So happy to have found this wonderful gem!
