What Chris doesn't like about Ad Hominem:
They did not have enough menus. Only about half full and we had to wait for menus (food, wine, and cocktail menus) to become available. They were out of a lot of the wine. We waited another 20 minutes just to order food. It took forever and we were starving at that point. And the item I decided on is actually not being prepared as of yet because the menu was new and items are not yet available. Would have been nice t... View all feedback. What Arne Corwin likes about Ad Hominem:
We tried this place right after it first opened and there were a few hiccups, such as the dessert custard being plain runny and being out of stuff. read moreThe dining experience at Ad Hominem brought mixed reviews from diners. While some were impressed with the fresh and delicious food, accommodating staff, and cozy ambiance, others were disappointed with long wait times, menu items being unavailable, and lack of attentiveness from servers. The restaurant's creative menu and farm-to-table approach were highlights, but inconsistencies in service and lack of menu preparation left some guests feeling underwhelmed. With a focus on improving service efficiency, menu availability, and overall dining experience, Ad Hominem has the potential to attract a broader clientele and establish itself as a staple in Denver's culinary scene.
Food was okay. They tried to be fancy, but just missed some things. Like the macarono--a bit too heavy on the sauce and not quite seasoned right. The s'mores ch...
