I ordered the udon with broth because I was feeling a bit under the weather, and it really helped me feel so much better! The portion sizes are gigantic, so it’s definitely worth the money. I’d rate it 11/10 and would absolutely buy it again! View all feedback.
What Matt Noh doesn't like about The Taste:
I used to work here, they were pretty mean to me. I have a nice job in corporate as a designer now, they definitely had anger issues and told me other people were going to act this way. Turns out other people don't act that way, I'm having a great time in corp. Also there were pots and pans on the ground at some point, I never knew what that was about, seems like a health violation. Besides that they do everything abo... View all feedback.
Was craving some comfort food (I may look white as rice but I was raised by my Korean grandmother ? so I thought I’d finally try this place out since I’ve lived right down the road from it for years now. I typically will just make the drive to Carrollton to get my fix, or just cook at home when I have time to go to Hmart. Anyways I ordered a Beef Bulgogi Eagle Box and I was a bit disappointed. The meat was not tender, and most of it was extremely fatty. Personal preference of mine, but typically with bulgogi I can withstand the few extra chewy bits…but this was 95% meat I was gnawing on for minutes until I eventually gave up. Of that entire portion I was maybe able to eat 1/4 of it. I ended up using my own gim to eat up the rice and kimchi. Speaking of the kimchi, I don’t know if it’s made in house but I really enjoyed it! Nice spice level and wasn’t too sour. I wasn’t expecting onion rings, they were just meh. The shrimp tempura was completely flavorless, however I dipped mine in some ssamjang (not sure if they offer sauces at the restaurant the menu is very vague . The dumpling was good, I would likely get a full order of those next time. Overall, good option for homesick students. I don’t think I’d ever order the Bulgogi again but I am interested in trying the kimchi stew, and ramens.
It's open... yeeeeea!!! It's delicious, it's a very nice place, clean, I love eating here...
Good place to dine if you wanna try some Korean/Asian cuisine. Doesn’t really cost much unless you are gorging down on like 3-4 dishes, BUT whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER the KOREAN BBQ or the GRILLED MACKEREL.Trust me, these dishes will make you ever regret going there.
Food is great, delicious, thing is, I understand if you don't have the product or if it's an inconvenience to make, but I wanted the bibimbap with fried rice instead of steamed rice, now I'm not usually a person to get frustrated (really wasn't frustrated at all to begin with) when a request is denied, but when I offer to pay double the price of 11:99 so 25$-35$ I'm just guessing management is allergic to money at that point. So now I guess I’m now allergic to this establishment. The food is great and delicious. Gotten takeout here twice before, the cashier has been very polite to me! This evening I walked there and was a bit out of breath, he told me to take a rest and brought my food out to me! The portions are big, and considering the convenience of the place, I don't mind paying a little more than I normally would for takeout. I've seen people complain about the size of the dining area but I think people are just too used to big chain restaurants. It's a lovely little place!
