Stacks Pancake House - Denton

The overall decor of the restaurant was outdated and lacking. The food was average diner style, but the taste was disappointing. The chicken roast steak appeared to be frozen and hastily cooked. The waffle seemed pre-made and kept warm in a drawer. The freshly squeezed orange juice was shockingly lackluster, almost as if it had been prepared in advance.

I stumbled upon this restaurant after a mix-up with my DoorDash order, which led me to visit Stack's Pancake House in person for the first time. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated by the hostess, who assured us a more enjoyable experience than our failed delivery attempt. Our server, Carson, provided excellent service from start to finish. We enjoyed unsweetened iced teas, fresh avocado, a cheese omelette with hashbrowns and biscuit, a Denver omelette with hashbrowns and toast, and pancakes for dessert. Though I usually opt for eggs benedict, the variety on the menu tempted me to try something new - and I was not disappointed. The cookies were a unique, delicious treat, and the crepe was equally delightful. I will definitely be returning before my impending move, as the flavors at Stack's Pancake House surpassed the typical commercial taste of other establishments. The breakfast and lunch menu offers a diverse selection, including turkey bacon, which was a pleasant surprise. Though I am unsure of their hours of operation, I am eager to revisit before leaving the area. Overall, a great dining experience at Stack's Pancake House.

The reviewer's dining experience was not satisfactory due to a dirty plate. They brought this to the attention of the manager, who claimed the food was made personally for them. However, the reviewer refused to eat from a dirty dish that had red stains, even though they did not order any red food. Additionally, the bottom of the bowl had dried ketchup on it. The reviewer asked for a refund, but the manager pointed out their no refund policy. After refusing to leave without a refund, the manager called the police on the reviewer, who eventually left without causing any trouble. Overall, the reviewer does not recommend this restaurant to others.

With stacking, from pancake house, I must say that when I come here, I could not help but testify that love and warmth that really fulfills that this place from several of the most beautiful waitresses above all jonette, perry, susie and chrissy. the food we ate was really good because this friendly herr roy, took his job really seriously! this is just a unique restaurant that we will never forget! many thanks for their hard earned efforts to make these services friendly, right up to the core, in consideration how warmhearted these waiters are, with roy is just as friendly! we love to be with you all, and again, thank for the friendships with stacken!
