I visited for the first ti... read more Shell Shack is an amazing restaurant! While a bit on the expensive side, the quality of the seafood is exceptional and well worth it. I visited for the first time with my siblings, and we all had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I ordered a pound of shrimp and was so satisfied that I had to take some leftovers home for my little brother. The crab legs were delicious, and the spicy, flavorful sauce I picked for the shrimp was perfect. It’s definitely a spot to check out—just maybe wait until after tax season!

The order was... read more Don't spend your money on takeout from Shell Shack. I ordered 2 pounds of crayfish, and most were old, tough, and bitter, with many falling apart. The order was mostly crayfish claws instead of whole pieces. I had a similar disappointing experience before with a 1-pound shrimp order. I've tried their food several times, but the quality is consistently poor, especially for the price—I wasted $50. On a positive note, the service was excellent despite the food quality.

Food is good. Quick disclaimer, if you don’t want seasoning and sauce all over your hands, order your seafood naked. Very unexpected when I ordered mine Cajun style, basically just coated in Old Bay seasoning. My mother was very taken a back, but the manager was understanding and took the order off the ticket. Definitely willing to give it a another try. Plus the drinks are good too. The best part was the hand washing device. It was incredible, a must try!

The service was food, they were short handed though. They have a full bar which is awesome!
