There are not many restaurants that offer vegan cheese, but this place is a standout because they are eager to cater to vegans. The kitchen staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. You can request the vegan menu or make substitutions to any item on the menu. They are happy to accommodate your needs. I am looking forward to the opening of the other half of the restaurant, which will be a fully vegan kitchen.

Milpa is a fantastic option for both vegans and non-vegans. However, for those who are strictly vegan, I would suggest trying their sister store, pepitas, instead.
