We visited for the first time last night and were a bit apprehensive about the appearance of the place, but don't let the building's exterior deter you. The service was absolutely fantastic, and the food was incredible! The lobster fritters were amazing, and honestly, everything we tried was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will happily do so in the future! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Ebb Tide:
It's been 24 years since I last visited, and it's not the same place anymore. You can't go wrong with a grilled chicken salad, but they advertise using both iceberg and romaine lettuce. Unfortunately, I only received the poorest parts of the iceberg. I also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, but it came with no dressing, which is essential for the sandwich. I won’t be returning. Delicious food. Great service. We've been here for a few years. This time it was at Seaview due to the changes for Covid. felt very clean and safe, lots of space between tables inside. I have the pecan-crusted salmon that was excellent. I loved the potatoes very buttery!
Food was very good. We got lobster bisque and clam chowder both were very good. The lobster roll was packed with meat and the wedge salad was huge and full with lots of things. Salmon was also delish. Great place to eat. Service was excellent too.
LOVE this place. Been coming since a kid. Very good food and they do a great early bird special that comes with soup or salad, entree, and a choice dessert. I always do the chowder and rhe chocolate mousse. I think it comes with coffee also
First time there. Great service and food. Clam chowder was amazing. Cranberry sorbet was perfect. Have seafarer casserole. Delish.
The ebb tide Restaurant is excellent in every way! We were greeted warmly when we entered the restaurant. Our server was attentive and attention to detail. The cocktails were small but delicious. The quality of the food and it?s expert preparation was amazing. Stuffed quahog was the best I?ve ever had. I had the seafood sampler that could not have been any fresher. When one steps inside the restaurant you feel a sophisticated country charm with white table cloths , candles on table. I give this restaurant an A .
