Big portions and delicious. We popped in for a late lunch. Their take on a Cob Salad included the traditional ingredients and lobster and shrimp...at a very reasonable price. The Tuna Poke had heaping amounts of really fresh Tuna...we will definitely be going back! More items to explore! And prices were very reasonable. View all feedback.
What Petra Corkery doesn't like about Chapin's Fish Chips And Beach:
EXTRA CHARGES TO PAY BY CARD Went there on Saturday with several family members. Food service were average. When the waitress brought the bill we were informed that if paying by credit card there is 4% fee that the prices on menu are the cash prices. Also were informed that there is an ATM machine (which probably charges a fee) if we preferred to do the cash payment. So let 's take a look at the extra charge Massachu... View all feedback.
What a treat. We wanted to meet friends on the Cape and ask for a meal. The fresh from the choice of the sea were diverse, and there were also many country-loving choices. Specials were offered and we ordered a diverse selection. The prices were great for the Cape and Emma, our server was so attentive. Please look at this clip from Dennis Port, you will not regret(Ask for Emma!
On holiday in Dennis we discovered this place. Only one person at the party liked seafood, so we needed a place that was respected both. This place had a full range of options. From pub food, sandwiches, burgers, salads and entrees. You have specialties of all kinds. Our party started with mozzarella stands and chicken teeth. Hard to mess. Both were fried varieties by default. We had a steak tip for children who looked amazing. An order of pulled pork sandwich that was delicious and heaping order. An adult steak tip order and the Cobb salad. Their version had standard ingredients and some lobsters and shrimps. Everything was pleasant. We sat outside so everything came in paper takeout style. But it is a complete service restaurant. We enjoyed the picnic outdoors because of the little ones. It was a family atmosphere out there. There's a hornhole to let children leave their parents alone. The food was served quickly. Waitstaff was pleasant. Most of the help was young high school and college-aged children. We had so much food that we could have leftovers the next day. Good place to visit for a fast delicious meal. There was a complete bar menu and a band playing inside. It seems a favorite among locals and visitors.
This review is for the beach and not the fish and chips. This is an amazing beach. It's just as good if not better than Mayflower Beach. Only spent the 3rd July here, as my family originally wanted to watch the sunset on Mayflower Beach. We arrive at 6:30 in the parking lot only for there are no open places, careless people go next to and around cars, and hardly a road to maneuver the parking lot. But as I confess when we came to Chaplin Beach, our excitement was back. Many parking spaces in a really well organized property where you can navigate. Why have the same experience and comfort on Chapin Beach for a parking lot on Mayflower. Unbelievable!
Make yourself a favor and skip this restaurant. High prices for bad quality food and deorganized kitchen. I was served 20 minutes after my table. Five minutes after my meal we were asked if we wanted the check. Additionally, my order was wrong (and I was charged an additional fee that was removed after they let it know). I really wanted to like this restaurant (it has a nice atmosphere), but it's just not worth it. I felt very unpleasant and hungry. Even if you decide to go, please note that the prices on the menu are cash prices, but you pay an additional 3.95% if you are billing (even if you pay cash). You will then refund the fee after you pay. While this is not a big thing on its own, this is not written on the menu or explained by the waiter. There is a very small sign that it explains. Again, not a big deal, but feels misleading.

General Laws/Part 1/Title XX/ Chapter 140D/Section 28A/(2) No seller in any sales transaction may impose a surcharge on a cardholder who elects to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check or similar means. A cash discount would be the way to go for attracting repeat customers and good reviews. I will not be visiting this place again.
