My only complaint is that they serve eggs on cold plates—it wouldn’t be that hard to warm the plates before serving!

The flavors ju... read more I waited about 15-20 minutes for a table around 9:30-10, which wasn’t too bad. However, when our food arrived, no one at the table was impressed. The flavors just didn’t suit our tastes. The French toast was filled with cream cheese, making it overly sweet—I couldn’t even finish it. The hashbrowns, only slightly larger than McDonald’s, had a strange fishy taste. The bacon lacked the typical bacon flavor. I can say with certainty this will be my first and last visit here.

My order arrived... read more There’s always a line, so be prepared for that. However, I honestly believe this was the best and fastest breakfast I’ve ever had on the Cape. My order arrived in about five minutes, which completely surprised me. Despite how busy it was, both the food and service were exceptional. I had the blueberry coconut French toast with the special home fries. Although we were too full to get any, the muffins looked absolutely amazing! It’s about a 40-minute drive from where we’re staying, but if I could, I’d come here every weekend.

After reading other reviews, we decided to try Grumpy's during our trip to the Cape, and it quickly became a must-visit. We returned the next day and will definitely go again whenever we're in the area. On the first day, we ordered a typical breakfast similar to what we'd have at home, and it was so large we couldn't finish it and even left some food behind. On the second day, we opted for smaller portions but still ended up completely full. We skipped lunch both days because we were so stuffed! Every meal was tasty, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I can't recommend Grumpy's enough.
