Great place. A fabulous mix of flavors for the palate. You'd expect this in Boston or New York, but here on Cape Cod makes it incredible. Pear martini, Basilikum Risotto, tuna tarts, Bourbon Ahornbrot, Cranberry Ingwerbread mit Ahorn Whip Cream und Ingwerbread-Fischkeks. Friendly and perfect service. To die. View all feedback.
What Šimon Mencl doesn't like about Fin Seafood.:
While some dishes were great, our very expensive entrees were mediocre. My baked cod stuffed with lobster and shrimp was blah and would have been instantly forgettable if not for the price tag 48). The wagyu beef was better in taste and presentation but half of the very small piece was inedible chunk of fat. The oyster soup was excellent as was very earnest service. A note about ambience, it’s nonexistent. I accident... View all feedback.
Our party of four had an excellent meal to finish. the appetizers of oyster chowder, scallop crudo, tuna tarts and Italian artichokes were delicious. the heavy fish, striped bass speciality and lobster bee were excellent escape. the wine on glass, beer and cocktail menus were varied and cheap. service was friendly and professional. that was our fourth visit and we look forward to the return.
We decided yesterday evening at fin seafood in dennis and could not have better experience. we have decided to choose different fish entrees on the menu, including a great horseradish speciality, all excellently prepared and delicious. friendly, attentive service, great wine list, especially french burgundy, sitting inside in a beautiful vintage house, beautiful bar area, terrace sitting outside. highly recommended if you are looking for a great place to dinner, mid-cap
I brought city friends to fin because I heard good things about the restaurant. I thought it was a 5-star experience, but the evening was a catastrophe of the moment we came in. our server allison was extremely unprofessional. she rolled her eyes, which formed faces behind the backs of the customers (once it was because her table asked for a spoon for her suppe.) when she brought our wee, she shredded the cork, still poured us a glass. the menu was very limited with only 5 entrees (4 seafood 1 steak.) we asked how the seabarsch was cooked, as we also consider the heavy fish. allison confirmed the sea bass was the best choice and had great taste as it ate ozean floor dwellers. no fraudulent description, but we went with her recommendation anyway. we started with the artichoke appetizer that we found tasty, but too small a part (2 tiny sections.) dinner came and we were shocked to see a whole fish with eyes, shed, **** all on a bed rice. we asked if we could fill it, but the waitress said no, but I can cut the head off a minute later she fell from the headless fish still sitting on the same bed rice. Allison never checked with us how our eating tasted or seeing if we needed anything else. we flew them down to remove the pristine fish. they never asked if we would like another meal, an salad or even dessert. she ignored us all night. one of my guests had in the grunde only 1 piece of artichoke the whole night and starved. I'm not just embarrassed when I take my friends after fin, but it ruined our whole evening. the server should know how the court was prepared and described it to us when asked! I will not be back at fin dinning. overpriced and really unprofessional service.
The best fine restaurants I had on cape cod. we celebrated our jubilee here last night and it was such a wonderful experience. eating on the prix fixe menu was absolutely delicious and the service was great. come back to any event!
Am confused by all the fuss over the place. We had a good server (Daniel I think and he was far and away the best part of the experience. Food was mediocre- even the local oysters came out poorly shucked and dry of all brine. Plates were composed nicely enough but flavors didn't wow and things were just not cooked quite right. It was all right, just not for the price.
