I had a great experience at the restaurant! The service was attentive, and the hush puppies were absolutely delicious. The 12 oz. ribeye was the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly, and the location in Watson, LA is perfect. I highly recommend this place to everyone I talk to. Also, don't forget to try the Dukes oysters!

On May 29, 2020, I called to confirm whether the restaurant was open. I specifically asked if there was a waiting period, and I was told there wasn’t. However, when I arrived, I found there was a 35-minute wait. The hostess, who had bleached white hair with blue highlights, seemed a bit off. She then directed me to the manager, an older woman with blonde hair and a pink shirt. While I was discussing the situation with her, her friend or son interrupted, claiming we didn't know what we were talking about and positioned himself behind her. This experience reflects some of the issues I've encountered in Livingston Parish and the surrounding area.
