Chick-fil-a - Denham Springs

I really enjoy Chick-fil-A sandwiches, but my last experience wasn’t great. The bottom bun, which had the pickles and tomatoes on it, was soggy and cold. The chicken and top bun were hot and delicious, though. I suspect that since they are so busy, they prepare the bottom buns in advance with the pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce, which makes them cold and soggy by the time the sandwich is served.

The food was fantastic, as usual. However, I didn’t receive the dipping sauces this time. The staff is consistently wonderful and greets you with a smile. Unfortunately, during this visit, the girls at the pickup window were having a rather loud conversation, laughing and joking about someone overdosing, which felt inappropriate for the setting.

The food is usually excellent, but I’ve noticed that this location sometimes lacks the little extra touches that other Chick-fil-A restaurants provide. When I pay $7 for a 12-count of nuggets, I expect a decent serving. I’ve received as many as 14 nuggets at other locations, so it’s disappointing when they come up short. Recently, I got a 12-piece box, and one of the pieces didn’t even seem like a nugget to me—just a chunk of crust! While they were tasty, it left me feeling like I didn’t quite get my money's worth on occasion.

Ordered a fried chicken deluxe sandwich with mac&cheese and the sandwich was impeccable. The mac&cheese bowl was good but not my favourite. All in all I love eating there and will be returning.

The food is always delicious and this chick fil a has never gotten my order wrong so I have never felt the need to check it. This last time there wasn't in the bags. Not really a huge deal just a little disappointing since when I go there I can'ttypically turn around to go back if something is wrong since I'm leaving that area.
