We called here on the 4th Monday in April . The cakes on display all looked really appetizing but and ordered Bakewell slice, banoffee pie/cake slice . a flat white and a pot of tea. Everything tasted so good and the restaurant seating area so well designed and relaxing to sit in and eat etc. .Service very friendly attentive View all feedback.
What LindaR463 doesn't like about The Potting Shed Cafe:
We always recommend jacksons cafe not anymore we were abruptly put to a table with the order we only had an hour and a half ! The T cakes were hard the scones not good and we didn't obviously have time to eat lunch which we normally do all in all will not visit again although the table staff were lovely the woman ordering us to table etc needs lessons in communication View all feedback.
This is a wonderful place to have breakfast with friends, offering a wide variety of high-quality and affordable options.
We had a lovely experience at this charming cafe located in a fantastic garden center. It was lively and crowded when we stopped by for a quick lunch. My partner ordered the cheeseboard platter, and I opted for the cauliflower and Stilton soup with a prawn sandwich, all for a great value at £6.95. The service was very efficient, with friendly staff. This wasn't our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last. Highly recommended.
This café is a hidden gem. We have visited several times now and always leave feeling happy we went! The surroundings are beautiful, the staff is friendly and the drinks are excellent. The sandwiches are high quality and come with crisps and salad. There is a selection of delicious cakes, all freshly made. Overall, this café is outstanding and I highly recommend it!
Lovely garden centre, with large cafe attached to a gift shop. The breakfast was phenomenal, My husband had the normal cooked breakfast which was quite large, and I had the pork and leek sausage sandwich, the pork and leek sausages were amazing, would happily take lots of them home. The cakes were massive, I wish we had had some room for some of them, we may need to go back and see if they will box some up for us before we go home, they really were very impressive. Great food, well presented, and served nicely.
We both chose the Special Platter, which were delicious! My flat white coffee was one of the best I 've had, and I 've had a lot! Staff were lovely, efficient and smiling, although they were very busy. As I have a bit of difficulty with my balance, when walking I use a shopping trolley to lean on, it 's easier than my two walking sticks. As I 'm a nice person, I left the empty trolley at the entrance to the café, and held onto my husband to walk to our table. I 'm obviously a far nicer person that the inconsiderate swine who had 'pinched ' my trolley whilst we were eating, leaving me to stand, attempting to balance whilst my husband dashed off to find another trolley, in order for me to be able to walk around. I hope whoever took the trolley, knowing full well that they had not left it there, is reading this, and I wish upon them the itchings of a thousand gnat bites!!!!! :
