Really lovely welcome food was fantastic we had a mixture of meals all seemed home cooked and served with a smile only small niggle there was children running round bumping our seats whilst eating. I really enjoy this restaurant, it's a cozy diner. We ordered the full breakfast and also requested some fried bread.

read moreThe Route 66 Cafe has received mixed reviews from customers, with some complaining about slow service and disappointing tea, while others praise the delicious, home-cooked food and friendly staff. The cafe's location next to a petrol station is convenient, but the lack of maintenance both inside and out leaves something to be desired. Despite the worn-out decor, generous portion sizes and reasonable prices make the cafe worth a stop. Whether passing through with a caravan or looking for a quick bite to eat, the Route 66 Cafe seems to offer a unique dining experience that some customers thoroughly enjoy.
