What rhino261 doesn't like about Jan Julie's Fish:
Called in her to get a chippy tea as a treat, never again walked in and straight back out I smiled and the lady serving just looked then walked away no great customer service this is the 3rd time I’ve been and it’s happened will be telling all my friends and family to go elsewhere!! This is a small fish and chip shop. The Plaice and Chips were well cooked and the portions were generous. The prices were more affordable than the shops closer to the beach.
I recently enjoyed the chili con carne with half rice and half chips at this restaurant and it was delightful! My partner ordered a fish cake with chips and curry sauce which she loved. The staff were very friendly and pleasant as well. We will definitely be returning in the future. Keep up the good work!
I recently tried this chippy for the first time and I was very impressed. My sister and I ordered a delivery and tried a variety of items. The homemade chicken curry and rice was delicious and not too spicy. The cod was the best I've had in years, not greasy at all. The portion of chips was a good size and perfectly cooked. The fryit and potato scallop were also very tasty. Overall, great value for money and I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
