I stopped by this restaurant and looked through the window - I thought "wow!" They have a great selection of food and the pasty was amazing. It was huge, the staff was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. It's a shame that it's so far away, as this would be my go-to place. View all feedback.
What DadandCab doesn't like about Bailey's:
We found the pasties from here a little disappointing. The filling was a bit sparse for the price and we found the pastry a bit thick and heavy. We did have them cold but even so, we would look elsewhere for lunch next time. View all feedback.
Located just up the Main Street from the bridge. Excellent hot meat and potatoes oggie. So good I went back the following day for another. Cakes were delicious too
Will definitely return. Everything good was delicious. They serve traditional Oggie's but also offer modern twists. A huge vegetarian selection too. Big Oggie was really good. It was huge! Plenty for two and at £4, we thought very cheap. We...also bought a sausage roll which was delicious. They serve local produce and many Welsh goods. Nice little items to give as gifts too.
Great Oggie (like a Cornish pasty) and deli shop, its a bit on the pricey side but these beauties are home made and I can highly recommend the mint lamb and Beef onion versions, all very tasty to eat whilst strolling around the...town, they'll heat them up for you if you want. Huge selection of craft beers and other local deli items that all looked very appetising, easy to get carried away in here I should imagine!
DELICIOUS! can't recommend highly enough. Our group had Oggies and Suasage rolls sorted, and everyone agreed they were beautiful. we go again what more can i say
Stopped off here to try the famous Oggies. Top quality but quite pricey at £3.50 for a standard pasty. Service was a bit slow. The walk across the river to see the rafters coming down the rapids made the visit to Llangollen worthwhile.
