What katelAnchorageAK doesn't like about 229 Parks:
A year ago I said this was the Best Restaurant in Alaska but it was so disappointing this time. We drove all the way from Anchorage for the meal and both the service and the meal were unsatisfctory. The chef was not accommodating at all and the experience was not what we expected. View all feedback. What mccarty4740 likes about 229 Parks:
This restaurant was incredible. Our host in Fairbanks suggested we go there, and we went in with low expectations. We weren't able to get a dinner reservation, but we had an amazing brunch instead. Chef Lauren Cole prepared the most delicious mushroom toast, eggs Benedict, and fresh Alaska blueberry pancakes. The staff were friendly, engaging, and shared the fascinating backstory of this hidden gem in Alaska. View all feedback.
