The sign Limón Tapas Bar was displayed prominently so despite not having a map or using navigation, we didn 't miss the place. It is located in an area with many places to eat. We were greeted and seated promptly, and handed a menu with a wide variety of tapas choices. Each choice was numbered and we were given a pad of paper and pencil to write down out choices. We had no idea how large the dishes would, but our server said that the five we selected would be right for the two of use. They were 20, 57, 42, 29, 36. Hubby ordered a glass of Tempranillo house wine, which was quite good, he said. We did not have to wait long for our first plates, and the others arrived in perfect succession. The combination of good food and wine made for a vibrant, if sometimes noisy, atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our meal.
This is a great low key restaurant on a really nice street. I was staying in a hotel very close and I had a wonderful meal. Started with a sangria and bread which came with 2 yummy sauces and a tapenade. Then the waitress recommended that I order 3 tapas dishes. I chose the clams and chorizo in spicy sauce, grilled lamb chops and the eggplant with peppers and cheese. Everything was delicious and service was attentive. If I'm back in The Hague again, I would definitely come back and try some more tapas. Prices are a little high, roughly 30 euro for just myself but I think it's just an expensive area.
